Disciples of Jesus Christ are called to go out into the world and love others in God's name.  We serve God by being witnesses to the world about God's forgiveness and sacrificial love. We serve him by doing acts of kindness and mercy for those in need.  At Bay Vue Methodist, we believe it is important to be reach out to both the local and the global community, so our efforts to serve include a wide variety of opportunities, which include:

• Serve as an usher or reader in worship

• Bring food for fellowship time after worship

• Sing in the choir or play in the chime choir

• Support mission projects through Bay Vue Methodist women

• Help with other events.

FOOD TRUCK:  You can also help serve this community by helping with the weekly food truck.  If you would like to help set up tables and assist in helping people pick up their food, please contact us (see Contact Us button above).

SECOND GOING:  Volunteers are needed in our thrift store, Second Going.  Thursday through Saturday, from 9 am to 3 pm, volunteers help customers with a great selection of clothing and household items for sale.  The proceeds from Second Going fund our foot truck ministry that feeds an average of 483 individuals/families each month.
